Former Minister of Works and Transport, Gen. Katumba Wamala, has officially handed over the leadership of the ministry to Hon. Byamukama during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Works and Transport headquarters.
The handover marked a significant transition in the ministry’s leadership, with Gen. Katumba expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve and highlighting key achievements realized during his tenure. Hon. Byamukama pledged to build on the ministry’s progress, focusing on improving transport infrastructure and service delivery across the country.
Officials and staff who attended the event described the transition as smooth and a reflection of continuity in the government’s efforts to strengthen Uganda’s transport and public works sector.
