Kampala- Uganda has gone five consecutive days without registering a new Ebola case, according to health officials, signaling progress in the country’s efforts to contain the outbreak.
Authorities, however, say surveillance, contact tracing, and community monitoring remain active in affected districts to prevent any resurgence of the disease. Health officials are also closely monitoring patients undergoing treatment while urging the public to remain vigilant and continue observing preventive measures.
The Ministry of Health has reaffirmed its commitment to containing the outbreak and protecting communities through sustained response efforts.
