Jacqueline Mbabazi Sworn In as Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development

KAMPALA – Hon. Jacqueline Mbabazi has officially been sworn in as the Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by government officials, family members, and supporters.
During the ceremony, Mbabazi took the oath of office and pledged to serve Ugandans diligently in her new role. Her appointment comes as part of the government’s efforts to strengthen service delivery in the social development sector.
Speaking after taking the oath, she expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her and committed herself to advancing programs aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable groups, promoting gender equality, and supporting labour development initiatives across the country.
She now assumes office and begins her duties at the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.
