Ugandan artist Sama Sojah has called for a more professional approach to managing the country’s music industry, arguing that musicians alone should not be in charge of key industry leadership roles. He noted that while artists are skilled in creating music, they often lack the technical expertise required for policy, legal frameworks, and structured management of the sector.Sama Sojah emphasized that the industry needs trained professionals to guide its growth and development.
