Ugandan singer Spice Diana caused a stir after confiscating sound equipment following an unpaid performance in Bukomansimbi District. The artist had reportedly completed her set at a lively event, only for the promoter to skip her final payment. In response, she left the venue with laptops, microphones, speakers, and controllers, drawing mixed reactions from fans and industry players.Taking to Snapchat, Spice Diana expressed frustration over working late into the night without food or pay, saying such situations bring out her “ghetto side.” Fellow entertainer DJ Crysto Panda backed her actions, noting that artists are often exploited when it comes to payments. The incident has reignited conversations about the need for proper contracts and better management practices in Uganda’s music industry.
