In Uganda’s entertainment industry, disagreements between artists are not uncommon. However, the ongoing rivalry between King Saha and Pallaso has grown into one of the country’s most talked-about celebrity feuds.

What initially appeared to be ordinary industry competition gradually developed into a deeper conflict marked by public accusations, online exchanges, and clashes between supporters of both camps.

The tension reportedly began with subtle remarks, competitive performances, and growing comparisons between the two artists by fans and music followers.

At first, many believed the misunderstanding would fade with time, as is often the case in the entertainment industry. However, the rivalry continued to intensify throughout 2024 and 2025, eventually moving beyond music and social media disagreements.

Reports of confrontations involving members of both camps began surfacing, with allegations of physical altercations and violent clashes. The situation escalated further in May 2026 after a reported confrontation in Nakulabye, where what was expected to be an ordinary entertainment event allegedly turned chaotic following clashes linked to the two camps.Soon after, King Saha publicly claimed that his convoy had been attacked while heading to a performance in Mukono.

According to the singer, a group armed with sticks and pangas ambushed them, leaving tensions even higher between the two sides.Pallaso’s camp, however, denied the accusations and argued that the events were being exaggerated and misrepresented. Both sides continued blaming each other, with supporters taking to social media to defend their favourite artist. As the conflict attracted wider public attention, several Ugandan artists and public figures called for peace and maturity. Among them was Spice Diana, who urged both sides to calm down and avoid further escalation.

The feud has since sparked debate among fans and entertainment commentators, with some expressing concern over how competition within the music industry can easily turn into real-life conflict.Others suggested that disagreements between artists should be resolved peacefully through dialogue rather than violence and public confrontation.

What began as musical rivalry has now become a reflection of the growing pressures, pride, and competition within Uganda’s entertainment industry, where personal conflicts can quickly attract national attention and divide fans into opposing camps.
