Ugandan media personality Eddy Sendi has credited NTV Uganda with transforming the country’s entertainment industry by raising production and performance standards. Reflecting on the station’s 20-year journey, Sendi recalled an earlier era when music performances on television were basic and limited in reach. He noted that the arrival of NTV introduced high-quality visuals, improved sound, and expanded opportunities for artists, pushing them to think bigger and compete at a global level.However, Sendi expressed concern that the station’s strong connection to music and entertainment has weakened over the years, as programming increasingly focuses on politics and current affairs.
