Jowy Landa has broken her silence on her fallout with Black Shuga, describing the end of their friendship as deeply painful. The dispute reportedly began months ago after Jowy failed to perform at one of Shuga’s events and later escalated when she asked for facilitation for another appearance. Jowy says she had previously supported Shuga by performing at her events without payment, but tensions quickly grew and spilled into public disagreements.
The singer revealed that the situation worsened through social media attacks, which affected her personally and emotionally, especially when her mother was hurt after seeing the online insults.
Reflecting on the experience, Jowy said it has changed her perspective on friendships, noting that she has lost trust and now prefers to “love people from a distance.” Black Shuga has not yet responded to the allegations.
