Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a fresh lawsuit after a man alleged that he was sexually assaulted as a minor following a promise of career opportunities in the entertainment industry.
According to court documents reported by several U.S. media outlets, the plaintiff, identified only as John Doe, claims he was a child actor when he attended a networking event at a Hollywood Hills residence in 2007.
The lawsuit alleges that the plaintiff met Combs at the gathering and was later invited to a private discussion about potential acting opportunities. During the meeting, the plaintiff claims the encounter became inappropriate, leaving him distressed before he left the party.
The man is seeking unspecified damages from Combs and other individuals he alleges had a responsibility to ensure his safety at the event.Combs, through his representative Juda Engelmayer, has strongly denied the allegations. In a statement, Engelmayer described the claims as “false and ridiculous,” arguing that they are part of a series of attempts to target the music star for financial gain.
The representative further maintained that Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone and expressed confidence that the allegations would be disproved. The latest lawsuit adds to a growing list of legal challenges facing the rapper and businessman, who has consistently denied wrongdoing in the various accusations made against him.
