Uganda’s legal fraternity and Buganda Kingdom are mourning the death of veteran lawyer Owek. Peter Mulira, remembered for his professionalism, dignity, and service to society.In an emotional tribute, senior advocate Elly Karuhanga described Mulira as a refined gentleman, exceptional land lawyer, and proud cultural leader who upheld the nobility of the legal profession. Karuhanga recalled Mulira’s calm character, respect for others, and commitment to justice throughout his career.Mulira also served the Buganda Kingdom as a minister and was admired for promoting Buganda culture and values. Friends and colleagues say he inspired many young lawyers through his discipline and wisdom.The legal community continues to honor his legacy of integrity, leadership, and service to Uganda.
