President Yoweri Museveni has praised Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for his role in fighting corruption and strengthening the Uganda People’s Defence Forces. In a birthday message marking Muhoozi’s 52nd anniversary, Museveni described him as a key figure who has improved the army’s combat readiness. He also shared an emotional account of Muhoozi’s birth in 1974 in Dar es Salaam during the liberation struggle. The President thanked Ugandans for their support and congratulated Muhoozi and his family, calling the milestone a special moment.
