UNMF Raises Security Alarm Amid Criticism of Eddy Kenzo’s Leadership

By Josephine Kayaga

The Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) has issued a security alert as criticism grows against its leadership under Eddy Kenzo. Several artistes, including Ziza Bafana and Nutty Neithan, have raised concerns over leadership gaps and alleged mismanagement, prompting tensions within the industry.

In response, UNMF claims it has received credible information about coordinated efforts to discredit its leadership through public confrontations and misinformation. While urging members to remain calm, the federation’s statement has drawn mixed reactions, with critics arguing it deflects from accountability issues.

As debate continues, the situation highlights deepening divisions over leadership, transparency, and trust in Uganda’s music industry.
